Movement Description:
Look beyond the pain and sadness of racial injustice to see the resolve of a people destined to reclaim and boldly proclaim the value and beauty of their culture, their bodies and their souls, without apology. These songs, delivered with Black fabulousness and sometimes braggadocious flair, commit to press forward in spite of rampant injustice. They are in-your-face proud, full-bodied and unapologetically Black. They lead the charge and tell us that now is the time to reach for victory.
Way To Experience:
The movement was curated to be experienced in a specific order. The songs in a movement build upon one another, and one by one, create a full and immersive experience and journey in black freedom.
